- Seabluff Trail (easy ride) - Located across the road from Ocean Breeze Stables, Seabluff Trail is ideal for a quick and easy ride because of its flat terrain and wide trails. The trail is about a kilometre in length and runs in a full loop. The trail circles a local sheep farm, passes through a small forest and by a pond. A viewpoint along the trail provides a beautiful viewing point of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The trail has very little foot and horse traffic and takes under 45 minutes to ride its perimeter. (Please ensure to close all gates behind you.)

- Galloping Goose Trail (easy ride) - With many trail entrances throughout the region, the Galloping Goose Trail acts as a main connecting point between many of the trail systems in Metchosin. The trail runs 60 kilometres from Sooke to Victoria, however only the span between Langford and Sooke is suitable for horses. The trail is wide and well maintained. Whether it be a 30 minute walk or a several hour day trip, the Galloping Goose Trail provides many options for horse and rider. The trail is relatively quiet, however in the summer months the bike traffic increases quite a bit. Unfortunately not all cyclists are horse savvy, so make sure to keep an ocassional eye out behind you so they don't catch your horse off guard.

- Hillman Trail (easy ride) - Located at the end of Hillman Road, just up the road from the Metchosin riding ring, Hillman Trail is a short and easy ride. The trail runs through a forested section between Hillman Road and Pears Road, behind the Metchosin Golf Course and features a small foot/horse bridge over a local creek.

- Bob Mountain Trail (moderate ride) - 'Bob Mountain Trail' is accessed from Liberty Drive near Woodley Ghyll Road. The trail is narrow and winding with large mud puddles in the rainy season. The trail will eventually connect you with the Galloping Goose Trail.
